Fulbright Graduate Student Program
Studying at American universities for one to two years to obtain a master's degree.
The competition is open to senior students, graduates of higher education institutions.
Postgraduate education in the United States (graduate studies) is a combination of training with individual research work. The system of this level of education provides a wide range of opportunities:
obtaining a master's degree (master's program);
studying in a related specialty;
preparing for qualifying exams and admission to graduate school (doctoral program).
Requirements for candidates:
➢ have Ukrainian citizenship and reside in Ukraine at the time of the competition. In 2024, the Fulbright Office will accept applications from applicants who continue to reside in Ukraine, as well as those citizens of Ukraine who were in Ukraine until February 24, 2022, but were forced to leave the country due to the war;
➢ have a level of English sufficient for professional communication in an English-speaking academic environment;
➢ have at least a bachelor's degree at the time of the scholarship award (in August 2025).)
➢ return to Ukraine for 2 years after the end of the grant period in accordance with the requirements of the J-1 visa, which is obtained by participants of exchange programs.
Grant conditions:
- payment of university tuition;
- monthly stipend;
- medical insurance;
- round-trip ticket.

Documents for the competition and requirements for their execution:
Applicants must submit a package of documents to the Fulbright Program Office, which includes:
- an online application form;
- three letters of recommendation;
- copies of all documents on higher education, which testify to the qualification, degree or title received (diplomas with supplements, certificates, etc.)/ or a copy of the academic record/extract fromelectronic student record for 3-6th year students who have not yet received a diploma at the time of the competition;
- portfolio (for candidates in creative fields);
- an additional form is required: Consent to the processing of personal data - a scanned copy of the completed and certified by a personal signature Consent must be scanned and uploaded to the online application form in the section "Additional Information: Country-Specific Materials".

Program finalists will take the TOEFL iBT (Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language) and GRE General Test (Graduate Record Examination) computer-based tests in October-November 2024. The finalists of the program in legal specialties will take only the TOEFL.

Deadline for applications: May 16, 2024.
