Scholarship program named after Lane Kirkland to study in Poland

The Lane Kirkland Scholarship Program for studying in Poland includes 2 semesters of study in one of 5 Polish academic centers (Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Poznan, Lublin); at least a 2-week professional internship in public, private and non-profit organizations, as well as participation in trainings and workshops.
The scholarship is awarded to young leaders and professionals with higher education who are interested in the development of democracy, market economy and civil society in their countries and the region. There is a separate item on the areas that will help in the restoration of Ukraine.
Duration: 2024-2025
Sectors:
- Economics and Management
- Administration/management in business, non-governmental organizations, culture, education and healthcare;
- health
- Public administration (central and local authorities)
- Law
- Social sciences (social psychology, sociology)
- Political science and international relations
- Ecology and climate protection
Security and cybersecurity
- Development policy and humanitarian aid
- Industries related to the restoration of territories destroyed by war, for example, urban planning, civil engineering, forensics, etc.
Selection criteria:
- higher education (at least 4 years of study at the university) - bachelor's or master's degree;
- professional experience - at least 2 years;
- have scientific achievements, including publications;
- speak Polish or English at a level not lower than B2. (In the case of B2 level English, Polish must be at least A1 level).
Financing:
The program provides free participation in university classes. The scholarship is paid for four months (PLN 2,700 per month). In addition, it provides accommodation in Poland, insurance, ticket payment, and a Polish language course (September-October).
