Fulbright Graduate Student Program - opportunities for recipients and teachers

Studying at American universities for one to two years to obtain a master's degree.
Senior year students, graduates of higher educational institutions can participate in the competition.
Postgraduate education in the USA (graduate studies) is a combination of study and individual research work. The system of this level of education provides a wide range of opportunities:
obtaining a master's degree (master's program); study in a related specialty; preparation for qualifying exams and admission to postgraduate studies (doctorate program).

Requirements for candidates:
➢ have Ukrainian citizenship and live in Ukraine at the time of the competition. The Fulbright Office will accept applications from continuing applicants in 2024
stay in Ukraine, as well as those citizens of Ukraine who were in Ukraine until February 24, 2022, but were forced to leave the country due to the war;
➢ speak English at a level sufficient for professional communication in an English-speaking academic environment;
➢ have at least a bachelor’s degree at the time of awarding the scholarship (in August 2025)
➢ return to Ukraine for 2 years after the end of the grant period in accordance with the requirements of the J-1 visa, which is received by participants of exchange programs.
Terms of the grant:
- payment of tuition at the university;
- monthly stipend;
− medical insurance;
- a round-trip ticket.
Documents for the competition and requirements for their registration:
Applicants must submit a package of documents to the Fulbright Program Office, which includes:
• online questionnaire;
• three recommendation letters;
• copies of all documents on higher education, which testify to the received qualification, degree or title (diplomas with attachments, certificates, etc.)/ or a copy of the record book/excerpt from
electronic information of the student for students of the 3rd-6th years who have not yet received a diploma at the time of the competition;
• portfolio (for candidates from creative fields);

• mandatory additional form: Consent to the processing of personal data - a scanned copy of the Consent completed and certified by a personal signature must be scanned and uploaded
in the online questionnaire in the "Additional Information: Country–Specific Materials" section.
• Finalists of the Program will take the TOEFL iBT (Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language) and GRE General Test (Graduate Record Examination) computer tests in October-November 2024.
